Sense of "common goods"

The linked news and article below shows the perspective of "common goods" that Nobel laureate, Elinor Ostorm argued. Though she is not economist, she presented the third alternative in order to slove "the Tradegy of Commons" problem. She emphasized the voluntary cooperation in community, which has great implications for us who abuse common goods such as forest and common land.
